The location is great; close to the Medina, the famous square, and souks (shopping). The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Mohamad. He made us feel like home. Our room was clean, comfortable, and very suitable for a couple. I strongly recommend people to stay at this place! Ibrahim

Great place, rooms and the place looks and feel very Morrocon. Breakfast was great too, with fresh orange juice and nice warm bread. Hotel staffs were excellent and very reliable. Very cosy place.

As in any other accomodation in Marakech, looking for the place it self isnt easy. Definitely need help by asking around. All I can say is that its near a mosque in the square.

Dar Ihssane's location is a reason on it's own to stay there - the medina is a difficult place to navigate but Dar Ihssane is just 3 or 4 turns and 5 minutes walk from Djemma El-Fna - compared to a number of dars/riads that is easy Aimad and Mohammed are fantastic staff with good English - they helped me out with plenty of Arabic language tips, directions and even bought me new batteries from the medina (one less thing to do for me in a busy day of exploring Marrakech) The Petit Prince room was always spotless and with piping hot water in the shower morning and evening (very welcome in December) I recommend you go for it and book Dar Ihssane (a dar is like another name for a riad)

The staff were all very kind and wonderful! They waited up for us even though we arrived in Marrakesh from Fez very late at night. The rooms were clean and beautiful, and they also had a beautiful lounge area. The breakfast was also very good! I would definitely go back to Dar Ihassane. Dar Ihnsanne riad has a great location, right in the heart of the souk and excellent facilities. Staff is very friendly and always happy to help. Very good value for money! Note that the rooms on the ground floor (Petit Prince and two others) can be a bit noisy.

We really enjoyed our trip in Marrakech, specially staying @ Dar Ihssane was an amazing stress free experience. We are definitely choosing Dar Ihssane on our next Marrakech trip.

The location is excellent as this is really at the Heart of the Medina. The Dar is beautiful and very well decorated. Very quiet. The staff was very discret and very helpful. An address I would recommend to those looking for convenience, authenticity and comfort.

The location is right in the middle of the Medina, 5 minutes walk from the main square, Jemaa el Fna. It is also just around the corner from the souks (2mins walk) so it really is in the perfect place for exploring old Marrakech. The Riad is beautiful and the staff/owners are wonderfully helpful and friendly. We emailed in advance and the owners arranged our taxi to and from the airport and our Atlas Mountains trip, which was amazing and much cheaper than any of the official trips we found online. The riad itself is hidden down an alleyway and around a few corners but it's perfectly safe to wander about and all the local people were friendly and helpful. It is so very quiet at nights, the breakfast sets you up for the day and the rooftop terrace with sun loungers and comfy seats is great for watching the sun set. Hearing the call to prayer is magical in the mornings too! Just be aware, some of the rooms don't have a bathroom door but instead the bathroom is part of the bedroom, with just half a wall separating it from the rest of the room which can be a bit overwhelming - but you soon get to know your roommate very well - or get good at arranging a bathroom rota! This is only for some of the rooms though and please don't let this put you off, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. The rooms with comfy sofas around the Riad are great for relaxing after the madness outside. The staff spoke a little English, more than our French, and we managed to get by just fine. Highly recommended as a little piece of paradise in the centre of Marrakech!

Nothing - Dar Ihssane is brilliant! Although after a few days the novelty of the lack of a bathroom door wore off!

The staff is very friendly. The beds are fine. There is a free wifi connection. The riad is very close to the Djemaa el Fna square.

You can easily hear other guest when they have breakfast.
